A 4 link kit is essential in most truck applications
that use leaf
spring rear suspension. The problem is that with leaf springs
you
have no way to truly lower the suspension to the maximum which is the
GROUND! A leaf spring suspension is tried and true and serves its purpose of allowing you to carry heavy loads in your work truck, but who wants a rough ride in even their eork truck?! Eliminating the leaf spring setup and installing a four link in its place will not only keep the axle centered between the frame rails, but will also allow for infinite vertical adjustment. In other words, the four link kit will keep the axle centered side to side but will still allow the axle to travel up and down, thus lowering and lifting your truck chassis. Install a 4 link kit if you want your truck to lay frame! The four link kits we offer, whether bolt on, or weld on, are exactly what you need to get your truck LOW! Don't forget to pick up a Watts link or Panhard bar if you are not using a triangulated 4 link to keep your rear axle centered through its entire range of travel. C notch kits are also recommended to allow for maximum axle travel with no bottoming out Each of the four link kits shown below are computer designed with the installer in mind. Each features full steel construction, thick DOM tubing, and all of the installation hardware needed to complete the install. |
