The 2012 Friends in Low Places Car Show was held in Winston Salem, NC on June 9-10.  This was the First year of this show and it turned out to be a show that featured a ton of custom cars and trucks! We plan on attending every year now!  More often than not, the first year that a company hosts a show, one can expect low numbers in attendance at the "new" show.   This was not the case with this show at all.  KIK clothing company did their best to spread the word of their upcoming show by handing out fliers at previous events, did a ton of advertising on the web, and of course a little word-of-mouth  to spread the news of the show.  Fortunately, the show ended up being great with plenty of Custom cars and trucks, along with a few cool bikes and just as many spectators.

Although it was blazing hot and humid on Saturday morning (thanks to North Carolinas sub-tropic climate),  custom cars and trucks started to flow in taking up all thew space in a huge parking lot right next to a movie theater.  Outkast Kustoms car and truck club rolled in about 20 members strong, Pebble Pushers Car and Truck Club had a few members and rides too (including myself), but Blurred Visions Car club took the highest attendance award with all of the rides they brought out.  The range of vehicles at the Friends in Low Places Car show ranged from import tuners to Lowrider Classics to bagged and bodied minitrucks to full size customs.
