My 65 Good Times

Starting out

When I was 16 Many Many years ago my Dad gave me a 1962 Chevy short box truck, from that point I was hooked! However after a few years and a bit of growing up I was forced to sale it.. That was a ruff day. Twenty years later I found a 1965 Chevy short box for sale. I drove past this truck every Sunday after church for about two years. One day I decided to stop and just ask if it was for sale? At that time it was not. However being the persistent man Im, I kept my eyes on that girl. Well just a few months ago I took another chance and marched up to the door once again. To be honest I did not think the owner would ever part with her. To my surprise the owner said if you want her its gonna cost ya, Again I was thinking I would go home empty handed... NOT THIS TIME ;) The price was right and I had the cash... after handing over the cash she was all mine.
I have just started working on the truck so it is far from complete, Time will tell the direction we go, But it will be exactly What I lost so many years ago.
